Listen to the raw audio clip and notice how the sound is unbalanced from word to word. There are also long pauses and filler words like “UM’s” and “AH’s” from the speaker, making the speaker appear nervous. This could be a direct effect of being microphone-shy, among other factors. The result of an unedited clip being published in this state could make the listener disinterested in the content.

Now, listen to the edited version, and you will hear a balance of sound from word to word; the long pauses are eliminated, and the speaker sounds more streamlined and straightforward in their ideas.
